Oficina do Ouro is located in Sobradelo of Goma, in the heart of the province of Minho, north of Portugal, a beautiful parish of Póvoa de Lanhoso, right next to the river Ave. At this location you can find the largest concentration of filigree workshops, is well worth a closer look and a visit. On the river Ave, the "Pontao", a local bar, is a prime location for experiencing nature. Further up, near the parish church, the Oficina do Ouro workshop will host your visit to discover our technical gold art. In the hillside of Merouço mounta a Tourist Village named Carreira has a group of local houses for rental accommodation, and there you may also find the Restaurant Palheiro das Eiras, to enjoy the ambience and tastes typical portuguese food of this region. This village can also is the starting point for two footpaths, duly marked on the ground, one for rural paths in Sobradelo of Goma, and the other rising to the top of the rock formation Merouço Hill, 600 meters high, where you can enjoy a fantastic view over Sobradelo, and also the castle of Lanhoso, the Sameiro temple in Braga, and the backdrop of the mountains of Cabreira and Geres Natural Park, not far away.
